Hanzo
This guitar was built for Nick Perri of the Underground Thieves. The guitar toured with Nick in 2018 and 2019 and used on his debut album “Sun Via” in 2020 as well as the soon to be released double album in 2022.
The guitar is an offset reverse design with a German carve around the perimeter of the body. Both the body and neck are lightweight mahogany, the fretboard is rosewood with descending disc inlays and the pick guard is covered in distressed bronze.
It was originally equipped with vintage Moserite pickups from the 60’s though before touring with “Dorothy” we switched them to Bobby Tyson custom wound P-90’s at Tyson Tone Labs.
Since then the guitar has travelled around the globe.
Big 12
This acoustic has an all mahogany body with paduk purfling (look it up), embellished with hearts cut from paduk and trimmed in silver aluminum. The neck is mahogany with rosewood in 5 quarter-sawn layers, a macassar ebony fretboard bound in aluminum and a rosewood bridge and headstock.
The embellishment you see around the surface is all made from inlayed aluminum.
