I am Rob Mondell.
My passion for the guitar goes back to my parents, for when I turned 9 years old they bought me a Teisco Delray with a sunburst body and a flower pick guard. What followed was an immersion into sounds by Jimi Hendrix, the Beatles and the Stones with plenty of Led Zeppelin thrown in.
Was I trying to emulate a sound or create my own, I don’t know, but this led me to the basement shop where I started making my own guitars. This is how I created the tone.
